Unlike conventional shift lights, this shift light is
small and all electronics are built in, meaning no
separate "pills" or rpm converters are needed.
Available in four LED colors. Seven ultra-bright
LEDs visible in direct sunlight. All visible in direct
sunlight! Very compact that you can put it any
place you would like and you will see it.
Each kit comes with two different style mounting
brackets, a colored lens cover for night driving
(same color as LEDs), a black lens cover for
concealing all light, a clear lens cover, a ten foot
cable and shift light operating instructions.
Compare competitor's models which require the
shift light indicator, RPM activation module, RPM
pills, and Tach adaptor!
Dimensions: 3.125" x 0.75"

Ultra Precision, digital microprocessor technology! Much more accurate than old fashioned analog shift lights!
Self Contained, no rpm activation modules or "pills" needed!
No tach adaptor needed for new "Coil-on-Plug" with multi-spark ignitions!
Works on all ignition systems, excluding magneto ignitions (such as 2 stroke bikes). Can be connected to "tach out"
terminal of aftermarket CDI ignition boxes, but not at coil due to extreme voltages generated.
Fast and easy RPM setting with rotary dip switches (x1000 RPM and x100 RPM)
1000-9900 RPM range adjustable in 100 RPM increments (the RPM range can be doubled to a maximum of 19,800
RPM by doubling the cylinder select switches for your vehicle and setting the RPM to 1/2 of the desired RPM activation
point).
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 cylinder engines (set by 3 position slide switch)
5 or 12 volt tach signal operation (ECM or coil)
Seven high intensity LEDS available in red, green, yellow or blue
Black, silver, red or blue anodized 6061-T6 aluminum housings
0.75 inch diameter x 3.125 inches long
10 ft. cable (black jacket)
Simple 3 wire hookup: red=12VDC, black=ground, green=tach lead
Shipped with 2 types of mounting brackets

The rpm activated switch, is an easy way to add a single LED shift indicator to your vehicle for the ultimate stealth installation. Or use it with the warning light for a very compact installation

shift lights
Shift-I ROUND is a progressive gear shift and RPM range indicator. The
lights are user programmable to indicate a required section of your RPM,
the first light illuminating at the RPM you have programmed, usually this will
be the start of the power band, and depending on the display mode
selected will terminate with all lights flashing at your programmed shift point.
The lights in-between are automatically set at equal RPM divisions. Why
seven lights? Extensive testing determined that within your peripheral vision
you can instantly and easily recognize how many of the seven lights are
illuminated. Any more and you need to concentrate, removing your attention
from the road. Any less and RPM trend information is lost. As you
accelerate, you will see each light come on, providing a predictable lead up
to when the ideal shift point occurs.
Important Features...
* The RPM range displayed is set by the buttons, down to 50rpm intervals.... ie. 3150 to 8750rpm.
* Brightness adjusts automatically to ambient light and you can adjust the level yourself.
* Battery voltage display while engine starting.
* Warns you of alternator/regulator over voltage failures.
* Automatically dims while cruising.
Shift-I comes in four configurations, straight and curved, blue / red LEDs, and green / amber / red LEDs. The LED colors
are personal preference with most drivers opting for the tri-color.
The straight configuration is right for most cars while the curved will fit around a 3.5" (90mm) gauge, which works well for
many motorcycles and some cars. Please see the fitment pictures and template for more detailed information.

Knowing the optimal RPM range can be particularly useful for both circuit
work and on the street. It can
provide a reference for shifting down, by indicating if your RPM is below the
start of the power curve, and will also indicate if your RPM is getting too high
to accelerate out of the turn. In addition, the Shift-I can be used to optimize
launch control by keeping the RPM within the ideal range. By indicating the
section of RPM your most interested in, it allows you to break out of old
habits and form new ones. This can increase both performance, control and
engine life. Importantly, this is achieved without taking your eyes off the
road!
